The Alpha Sigma Alumni Advisory Board is chiefly responsible for alumni connection. An increasing number of alumni advisory board members are becoming involved in undergraduate life, assisting with renovation work and advising on philanthropy and scholarships. Kurt Gilliand '92, the president of the alumni board, leads communication to alumni via updates on undergraduate Sigma life in the electronic alumni newsletter SigmaScope.

The Alpha Sigma Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide extraordinary learning and educational opportunities to undergraduate members of Alpha Sigma of Chi Psi and other students enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Foundation was formed in 1999 with the generous and visionary gift of Brother Leonard G. Herring '48. Since that time, the Foundation has supported numerous educational and charitable initiatives for Alpha Sigma, such as faculty receptions, Lodge internet connectivity, maintenance and improvements to the Lodge Library, and alumni relations. Bert Johnson '82 has served as the Foundation president for many years.

The Alpha Sigma Corporation is the group of interested alumni who hold title to the Lodge property and oversee the long-term running of the Alpha. Brent Lister and John Strickland '68 have served as the heads of the Corporation for many years, overseeing various remodeling and construction projects.
